Not Malnutrition Poem

Malnutrition? Chronic disease? Child Neglect? Child Abuse?

Here comes a skinny boy,

all bones and skin.

Malnutrition says the physician,

without deeply seeing.

Off goes the treatment,

with RUTF plus and routine.

That pauses the case,

discharged as seems healthy and fine.

It reappears out of the blue,

wondering doctor confused why the boy does not dine?

Non-significant medical history but peaky, staring eyes,

and excluded all what chronic disease could mean.

The mystery continues,

with re-consultation and it seems keen.

With pains and bruises,

what possibly this arm fracture could mean?
